AIBD is delighted to announce the final nominations for the prestigious AIBD International Media Awards 2023. The judging session for the Best Television Programme category took place on May 15, 2023, at the AIBD Secretariat in Kuala Lumpur. However, the judging sessions for the Best Radio Programme and the Green Tech and Sustainability Award were conducted remotely. The winners will be officially unveiled during the 18th Asia Media Summit 2023, held in Bali, Indonesia, on May 23, 2023.

The esteemed panel of judges for the Best Television Programme category comprised Dr. Ramachandran Ponnan, Ms. Zohara Lola, and Mr. William Joseph. Similarly, for the Best Radio Programme category, the judging panel consisted of Dr. Sreedhar Ramamurthy, Mr. Giacomo Mazzone, Ms. Endah Tri Handayani, and Mr. Erin Endriya Suryanto. The Green Tech and Sustainability Award judges included Dr. Amal Punchihewa, Mr. Y.K. Sharma, and Mr. Andy Quested. Nabeel Tirmazi was the programme manager for these awards.

After careful deliberation, the judges have identified the top three entries for each category, presented below in no particular order:

Best Television Programme on Amplifying Economic Recovery Efforts:

1. Thailand Today, NBT Thailand
2. Zardozi, Doordarshan, India
3. The Perfect Storm, Mediacorp, Singapore

Best Radio Programme for Peace:

1. Religion of Peace and Humanity, Bangladesh Betar, Bangladesh
2. To Fly Again, KBS, Korea
3. Peak of Aspiration for Peace, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam

Sustainability and Green Technology:

1. A Warning to the Biodiversity on Earth, Phoenix TV, China
2. Making Gender Equality a Reality, KBS, Korea

These outstanding entries have displayed exceptional quality and merit, exemplifying the highest standards of excellence in their respective categories. The winners will be officially announced and celebrated during the 18th Asia Media Summit 2023, recognising their outstanding contributions to the field of media.
