Asia Media Summit 2024

19TH ASIA MEDIA SUMMIT
The Asia Media Summit (AMS) is an annual international media conference organised by AIBD as its flagship event. Every year in consultation with the members, partners and various global media gurus, a theme guides the direction and delivery of the summit. Being a unique broadcasting event in Asia-Pacific, it attracts around 500 top-ranking broadcasters, decision makers, media professionals, regulators, scholars, and stakeholders from within and outside the region. Apart from plenary sessions and pre-summit workshops, Asia Media Summit also provides a platform for intergovernmental dialogues to uplift the benchmarks of the regional media industry.

AIBD meets with SL High Commissioner to Malaysia as a part of its mission to brief diplomats about upcoming Asia Media Summit – 2024.

Ms. Philomena Gnanapragasam, CEO and Secretariate Director of AIBD, visited the Sri Lankan High Commission to discuss the 19th Asia Media Summit, welcomed by Air Chief Marshal Sumangala Dias, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Malaysia.

Ms. Philomena invited Air Chief Marshal Sumangala Dias, the Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Malaysia, to the 19th Asia Media Summit in Kuala Lumpur. The AIBD team engaged in discussions on common interest topics, discussing matters concerning its members and partners in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan High Commissioner expressed interest in AIBD initiatives in Sri Lanka and proposed connecting local authorities for mutual benefit.
