The deadline for entering your best LOVE stories for the 24th International URTI Radio Grand Prix is Sunday 16 September 2012.

URTI is the first International Radio-TV Grand Prix with 81 participating countries in 2011. For its 24th edition, the International URTI Radio Grand Prix launches a call for entries on the theme: “ LOVE ”. Each organization is invited to present one or two programmes for the competition.

The Pacific Media Partnership Conference (PMPC) 2012 will be held in Apia, Samoa on 20th September. The theme for PMPC 2012 is “Media and Society in the Pacific: Making a Difference”. Four pre-conference workshops will be held from 17 – 19 September. The online registration for PMPC 2012 is now open. Delegates can register at: PMPC 2012 Online Registration

The conference is jointly organised by the AIBD, ABU, and Pacific Media Partnership. The PMPC is hosted by Samoa Quality Broadcasting Company Ltd. with Pacific Media Assistance Scheme (PACMAS) and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) as major partners and supported by ABC, RNZ, SOPAC, SPREP, WHO and Australian Aid. The venue of the Conference will be the Government Convention Centre in Apia, Samoa.
