AIBD at Book Exhibition
As part of a gesture of close cooperation between AIBD and Tun Abdul Razak Broadcasting and Information Institute (IPPTAR), AIBD was recently invited to exhibit its publications in conjunction with MENTION 2011.

In-Country Workshop on TV Children’s Programmes in Myanmar
The In-Country Workshop on TV Children’s Programmes for staff of MRTV4 Forever Group started on Monday 10 October 2011. The workshop is conducted by Mr Kalle Furst, a children’s programme specialist from Norway.
The workshop is being held at the newly established Myanmar Media Development Centre (MMDC) in Yangon.

2009
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Worldview Global Media Holding (WGMH SA)* and the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) agree for a joint venture under the name of Global Media Centre for Development (GMCD).
2010
GMCD creates Mediahub with the objective of connecting international media leaders to players from emerging countries.

Photo Walls Installed at AIBD Secretariat
