Training on Digital Broadcasting Technologies and Implementation

International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is organising training on “Digital Broadcasting Technologies and Implementation” from 5-7 Febuary 2014 in New Delhi, India.
The training is organised in partnership with the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD), Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP), Republic of Korea and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), Japan.
This training has been developed as part of the broadcasting program within the framework of the ITU Centres of Excellence for the Asia-Pacific region and is targeted towards policymakers, regulators, corporate executives and managers, i.e. middle-level managers, administrators and officials dealing with digital broadcasting implementation.

To register for the above-mentioned training, participants are kindly requested to complete the attached registration form (Annex 2) and send them by email directly to Ms. Rachna Mathur ([email protected]) with copy to Mr. Ashish Narayan ([email protected]) and Mr. Rabi KC ([email protected]) by 15 January 2014 at the latest. The course is offered free of charge. The travel arrangements, accommodation etc. should be made and borne by the participating administration or participants directly.
Those participants requiring an entry visa to India are requested to contact their local Indian Embassy for information well in advance. For ease of reference, useful information for participants is attached in Annex 3.
