Asia Media Summit 2024

19TH ASIA MEDIA SUMMIT
The Asia Media Summit (AMS) is an annual international media conference organised by AIBD as its flagship event. Every year in consultation with the members, partners and various global media gurus, a theme guides the direction and delivery of the summit. Being a unique broadcasting event in Asia-Pacific, it attracts around 500 top-ranking broadcasters, decision makers, media professionals, regulators, scholars, and stakeholders from within and outside the region. Apart from plenary sessions and pre-summit workshops, Asia Media Summit also provides a platform for intergovernmental dialogues to uplift the benchmarks of the regional media industry.

AIBD Vice President Honored with Prestigious Award in Cambodia

H.E. Has Sam Ath, Vice President of the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD), has been awarded the Grand Order of National Merit by His Majesty the King of Cambodia.

During the prestigious ceremony in Phnom Penh, Honorable Neth Pheaktra, Cambodia’s Information Minister, also commended H.E. Has Sam Ath for his outstanding contributions to the information industry and diplomacy in the region.

The ceremony acknowledged H.E. Has Sam Ath’s commitment to promote meaningful partnerships among countries through the regional broadcasting and media ecosystem. His leadership and dedication have played a pivotal role in strengthening ties within the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
