AIBD/RTB In-Country workshop on Camera Control Unit (CCU)

AIBD/RTB In-Country workshop on Camera Control Unit (CCU) for 14 participants comprising cameramen, camera control unit operators and operation assistant of Radio Television Brunei (RTB) began today at RTB’s training centre in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.

A Malaysian Broadcast CCU Operator, Mr Victor Ajang Chambers is conducting the 4-day workshop. It is aimed at improving the skills and knowledge in terms of processes and techniques of video/television camera control functions.

In addition, it also provides exposure on how to handle camera control either partially or fully in TV productions, especially multi-camera productions more effectively, efficiently and professionally.
This CCU refers to a range of equipment and operations that responsible for powering the professional video camera, handling signals sent over the camera cable to and from the camera, and can be used to control various camera parameters remotely.

This CCU operation course been thoroughly designed to meet the requirement of the HD production specifically in camera control unit for OB and studio productions.
