- Winner: “DHARMA – WHERE DOES HAPPINESS LIE?” directed by Chan-Gyu, Yun and Geun-Young, Choi and broadcast by KBS ITV – Korea

CATEGORY SCIENCE / ENVIRONMENT for the Best TV Programme “Preserving the Ozone Layer and Protecting the Earth"
- Winner: “OZONE – THE HUMAN FACTOR” directed by Rehan Ahmed and broadcast by HUM TV– Pakistan
- Runner-up: "PHASE OUT HCFCs WHICH ARE SAFER FOR THE OZONE LAYER " directed by Khvay Atitya and broadcast by TVK – Cambodia
- Runner-up (ex-aequo): "PRESERVING THE OZONE: FROM HAPPY PEOPLE" directed by Sonam Phuntsho and broadcast by BBS – Bhutan
World TV Awards judging session, 7 & 8 May 2012, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The final judging session of the World TV Awards 2012 took place 7 and 8 May 2012 at the AIBD office in Kuala Lumpur.
Ms. Moneeza Hashmi, General Manager HUM TV Pakistan and Commonwealth Broadcasting Association President, chaired the jury.
