This is the last call for entries for the World Television Awards 2013. You only have one week to submit us your programmes for:
- Category Humanity for the Best TV Documentary on "Dealing with Natural Disaster"
- Category Science/Environment for the Best TV Programme on "Creating Ozone Safe Generations"
“The Prize” consists of US$ 5,000.00 cash, a trophy and a certificate presented by AIBD per Award category.
Winners will be presented with their Awards during the Asia Media Summit to be held in Manado, Indonesia on 29-31 May 2013, a global gathering of broadcasters.
The deadline for programme submission is Tuesday 30 April 2013.

The World TV Awards are open to broadcasters worldwide from public, private sector and freelance producers.
The World TV Awards are supported by United Nations Environment Programme OzonAction, Arab States Broadcasting Union, Radio TV Malaysia and The Islamic Broadcasting Union.

Registration Deadline for AMS 2013 Approaches
The deadline for online registration for the Asia Media Summit 2013 is Monday, 15 April 2013. For foreign delegates, please note your country’s specific visa requirements for visiting Indonesia and make the necessary visa arrangements well in advance prior to your arrival. Foreign delegates are encouraged to book their flights early as well.
AIBD/NRK/VTV In-Country Workshop on Children’s TV Programme
From 18 to 22 March 2013, AIBD organised an in-country workshop on Children's TV Programme hosted by Vietnam Television (VTV) in Hanoi. This activity aimed at providing the participants an introduction to children's perception of media, as well as an introduction of working methods to make them excellent media-workers with and for children.

Last Call for Entries for the URTI Grand Prix
URTI will celebrate its 32nd International Grand Prix for Author’s Documentary during the 53rd Monte-Carlo Television Festival from 9-13 June 2013. Participants are invited to register their documentaries before April 15th, 2013.

Considering the importance of the topics and anticipating an overwhelming response from Television Programme Producers, the final deadline for programme submission is now extended to Tuesday 30 April 2013.
AIBD/NRK/NBT In-Country Workshop on Children’s TV Programme
From 4 to 8 March 2013, AIBD organised a workshop on Children's TV Programme for NBT in Bangkok. 19 participants from various regional stations in Thailand were split into three groups with the task of drafting three programmes for children: drama, documentaries and game shows.
The CSR practices and polices of the Media, Advertising and Entertainment Sectors in Asia
The Asia-Pacific Media Alliance for Social Awareness (The Media Alliance) and CSR Asia are organising a one-day seminar on “The CSR practices and policies of the Media, Advertising and Entertainment Sectors in Asia” in both Hong Kong (Tuesday 7 May 2013) and Singapore (Wednesday 8 May 2013).
