Asia Media Summit 2024

19TH ASIA MEDIA SUMMIT
The Asia Media Summit (AMS) is an annual international media conference organised by AIBD as its flagship event. Every year in consultation with the members, partners and various global media gurus, a theme guides the direction and delivery of the summit. Being a unique broadcasting event in Asia-Pacific, it attracts around 500 top-ranking broadcasters, decision makers, media professionals, regulators, scholars, and stakeholders from within and outside the region. Apart from plenary sessions and pre-summit workshops, Asia Media Summit also provides a platform for intergovernmental dialogues to uplift the benchmarks of the regional media industry.

AIBD/VTV In-Country Workshop on HD Camera/Studio Lighting

The In-Country Workshop organized by AIBD for Vietnam Television (VTV) was held in Hanoi, Vietnam on 3-7 December 2012. The focus of the activity was to train VTV camera people on lighting techniques for HD cameras specific to indoor studio operations, in particular for news and game shows, and outdoor program production, in particular for news gathering and live events.

The In-Country Workshop organized by AIBD for Vietnam Television (VTV) was held in Hanoi, Vietnam on 3-7 December 2012. The focus of the activity was to train VTV camera people on lighting techniques for HD cameras specific to indoor studio operations, in particular for news and game shows, and outdoor program production, in particular for news gathering and live events.

During the workshop, participants were introduced to a variety of lighting techniques such as manual handling, working with natural and artificial light sources and basic lighting for SD/HD production.

 

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sahat Amin, Lighting Director for FIDA Technology, Malaysia, at the VTV Technical Center in Hanoi and was attended by 20 VTV staff members. The VTV participants found the workshop content very helpful to their operations and in their transition to HD technology, and indicated that changes based on the workshop content will be implemented in the near future.
