Pre-Summit Master Class Workshop with EBU and CCTV
AIBD is pleased to announce a joint collaboration with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and China Central Television (CCTV) to conduct a Pre-Summit Master Class workshop. A Master Class is the internationally recognised primary training format developed by EBU TRAINING. Through a fluid and sharp in-depth analysis delivered by a highly qualified expert on the field, participants are able to leave with a firmer grasp of their workroom challenges and applicable solutions than through a traditional workshop.
The theme for the proposed Master Class is “Leading Change in the Newsroom.” The theme centers on the growing need for editorial rooms to be movers and shakers rather than responders to change. In the face of multiple challenges such as incorporating social media or converging content on different platforms, the modern media landscape necessitates that they be able to lead in implementing change in their organization.
The Master Class is scheduled for 27-28 May 2012. Conducting the Master Class will be Henrik Keith Hansen, an independent consultant and former Editor-in-chief and head of TV News DR, Copenhagen with over 20 years experience in the media industry.
