Another workshop, “The First Step for Change Training” was held from 2 to 6 March 2012. There were 11 participants from Sport and News department. The objective for this training was to guide and motivate participants into taking the first step of change for news and to be responsible journalists. All the participants were entertained and educated with Mr. Omar’s experiences and knowledge.
The next training was one-day training for 11 camera crews from Production Department. Because of the short period, he could only teach basic knowledge of camera and motivation for the camera men. Even though it was a short training, the participants came to understand about using camera and the motivation.
Mr. Omar taught them with a sense of humor and through his own experiences and staff at MRTV-4 learned more new technical skills that they could utilize in their field.
