Asia Media Summit 2024

19TH ASIA MEDIA SUMMIT
The Asia Media Summit (AMS) is an annual international media conference organised by AIBD as its flagship event. Every year in consultation with the members, partners and various global media gurus, a theme guides the direction and delivery of the summit. Being a unique broadcasting event in Asia-Pacific, it attracts around 500 top-ranking broadcasters, decision makers, media professionals, regulators, scholars, and stakeholders from within and outside the region. Apart from plenary sessions and pre-summit workshops, Asia Media Summit also provides a platform for intergovernmental dialogues to uplift the benchmarks of the regional media industry.

Dr. Kim In-Kyu is President & CEO of Korean Broadcasting System. He joined KBS as a news reporter in 1973 and has held key positions at KBS including being a Member of the Board of Governors and Managing Director of New Media. Dr. Kim also serves as chairman of the Korean Broadcasters Association and Vice-President of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU).

Director General, Authority of Broadcasting and Electronics Information, Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam

Dr Luu Vu Hai is General Director of Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information which is under The Ministry of Information and Communications Viet Nam. He has over 20 years experiences in radio and television field especially in broadcasting technology. Prior to joining Ministry of Information and Communication, he worked as Deputy Director of Viet Nam Multimedia Corporation – The first Digital Television operator in Viet Nam. He also works as member of several science councils in broadcasting field in Viet Nam.
