Asia Media Summit 2024

19TH ASIA MEDIA SUMMIT
The Asia Media Summit (AMS) is an annual international media conference organised by AIBD as its flagship event. Every year in consultation with the members, partners and various global media gurus, a theme guides the direction and delivery of the summit. Being a unique broadcasting event in Asia-Pacific, it attracts around 500 top-ranking broadcasters, decision makers, media professionals, regulators, scholars, and stakeholders from within and outside the region. Apart from plenary sessions and pre-summit workshops, Asia Media Summit also provides a platform for intergovernmental dialogues to uplift the benchmarks of the regional media industry.

UNICEF’s Communication for Development Team (Division of Policy and Practice) has extended an invitation to AIBD members to the launch of “Communicating with Children: Principles and Practices to Nurture, Inspire, Excite, Educate and Heal”

Considering the geographical locations of this publication’s contributors, UNICEF is hosting two live video sessions bringing questions or comments to the ‘Live Chat with Authors!’ event on Facebook: www.facebook.com/unicefcwc.

The two sessions will be held on

This resource pack provides simple, practical guidelines and tools for the development of age-appropriate and inclusive media materials for children of different age groups. It will be a cornerstone in improving communication for children, guiding UNICEF Country Offices, academics, media producers and others in the development of materials for child audiences.
