Training of Trainers

A workshop for experienced media practitioners, trainers or potential from the African continent hosted by the South African Broadcasting Corporation which offers a practical learning opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills for training others on formal or on-the-job training.

DESCRIPTION

This course will focus on methods of design, application, implementation, and evaluation of core competency development programmes for adults. At the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to apply skills and knowledge developed through scheduled instructional activities to conduct planned, structured, and effective training in their own specific fields. This training can be applied either in formal or on-the-job settings.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of training, participants will be able to :

  • apply the knowledge and skills, of varied methodologies of
  • plan, organize, conduct, evaluate and modify training that brings
  • brings about positive change in the organization through
  • effective training.

PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANTS

The workshop is open to those with the following criteria:

  • content specialists who possess at least 5 –7 years experience
  • those who are already working as trainers,
  • preferably be between 35 to 45 years of age.

Ability to understand, speak & write in English (which is the language of instruction)
