An intensive two days workshop aimed at creating a more efficient newsroom by improving its management.
Through a series of practical exercises and background briefings, the course will show how to build and run a successful news team and department.Participants will work sometimes in groups, sometimes as individuals, studying issues including budgeting, resources and people management.
The seminar will be highly inter-active and participants will be expected to play a full part. At the end of the seminar, they will be expected to produce plans of action for improving their newsrooms.
