A workshop for potential trainers hosted by the Press Institute in Ulaan Baatar to acquire knowledge and skills to carry out effective training.Those invited to participate are from Mongolia Public Radio and Television (MNPRT) TV5 Television and the Press Institute.

At the end of the workshop the participants will be able to

• acquire knowledge,skills and applications on the methodologies of

  adult learning,

• conduct planned and structured training and apply the learning through practical projects to effectively transfer the knowledge and skills to other in their respective fields of specialization.

LONG TERM OBJECTIVE

To be able to contribute effectively as trainers and be able assist in managing in-house training requirements.

METHODOLOGY

The workshop is essentially practical oriented, ephasizing on methodologies and experiential learning techniques for adult learners.

PROFILE OF THE PARTICIPANTS

The participants of the workshop must possess the criteria stipulated as follows:

• Must be content specialists who possess at least 5-8 years experience in their field/s of specialization ( in news, programme, production or any other field in broadcasting) and with a desire to become trainers,
• Be between 35 to 45 years of age.

The workshop will be conducted with Mongolian interpretation.
