Roland Husson is the Counsellor for cooperation and cultural affairs, French Embassy in Malaysia. Although a career diplomat he is not new to media industry. He served as the Head of Public Service Broadcasting Service of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. From 2010-2014 he served as the Deputy Director of Audio-Visual Policy under the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. He was also the Director of European and International Affairs, French National Centre for Cinema and Motion Pictures. For about a year, 2014-2015, he worked as a Consultant (Media Policy expert) for Analysys Mason, a British Company based in London. Prior to the current post he was the Deputy-Chief of staff of Audrey AZOULAY, Minister of Culture and Communication, France. Mr. Husson has a master’s degree in Public Affairs and a Postgraduate Diploma in international security studies from St. Andrews University in the UK.
