AIMS

The In-Country workshop aims at providing broadcasters and other media professionals a better understanding on the relationships between emerging digital media and the broadcasting medium. Digital media is real revolution in communications and is changing how people engage in a dialogue. It can empower broadcasting medium like radio and television to reach out to audiences in new ways.  Both Radio and TV need to innovate and use digital media to showcase new ways of doing things and transform by interacting with their audiences and engaging them through “digital social medium of delivering”.  

 

OBJECTIVES

During the workshop the participants will be taught:

  • How can radio and TV involve audiences to enhance the content using digital medium for sourcing of information and materials?
  • How can radio and TV use digital medium like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media platforms to truly engage audiences in an open dialogue and with entertaining contents to earn their trust and make listeners/viewers feel closer to you?
  • What are the strategic plan on how to engage with digital media differently and how to generate new value to your broadcasting brand?
