AIBD’s latest joint venture Mediahub has been introduced at this year’s MIPTV in the Palais des Festivals, Cannes, France. The energetic Mediahub team led by its general manager Dimitri Mendjisky, met key broadcasters and production houses from all over the world, of which 34 agreed to become content providers for Mediahub.

An impressive kick off for this new AIBD/WGMH service creates new opportunities for AIBD members.

What is MIPTV?

Simply the world’s greatest gathering in TV and media. MIPTV is a unique occasion that brings the key decision makers in the TV/Film, digital media and advertising/brands sector together in one place at one time. It is the only international marketplace where these sectors connect, network and do business. The event’s attendance spans 107 countries and regions, 4,000 buyers and international producers.

What is Mediahub?

Mediahub is to Youtube what Linkedin is to Facebook. Primarily a business-oriented video-sharing website on which producers can upload, share, expose their trailers, demos or pilots to registered high profile costumers ready for content acquisition. This frontier-breaking platform is designed to ease entry to the emerging markets of Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. With one simple click, Mediahub enables effortless, secure and private networking, connecting buyers and sellers directly.

Initiated by Global Media Centre for Development (GMCD) and based in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Mediahub is a joint venture between the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development (AIBD) and Swiss Worldview Global Media Holding (WGMH SA).

Since Mediahub has been set up in order to expand services to AIBD members, it is only fitting that they should get free access as content users. As content providers, they will also enjoy a 50% discount on all subscription packages.

Linking with Mediahub is a click away- - engaging you safely with media players across the globe.
